Last week I posted how the mean-spirited marriage amendment received a new title from Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie. Turns out that Minnesota for Marriage has submitted a “data practices request” seeking anything they can find to get Ritchie (or the state) in trouble for changing the name of the amendment:

And basically what we’re looking for is to find out any amendment-related correspondence that the secretary of state has had with either parties that oppose the amendment, or with Governor Dayton, or even the Attorney General Lori Swanson, just to make sure that there wasn’t any collusion going on here to try and defeat the amendment.
