Minnesotans United released another video this week. This latest 2-minute video features Maya Wiener Berkowitz, of Minneapolis, and she shares how she grew up with two moms and a younger brother:

My childhood was pretty much as close to blissful as you could kind of imagine it. I have two very involved parents who love me and my brother a lot …for the most part, everyone was super supportive and really loving and accepting of exactly who my family was because they loved us and they cared about us.

This video focuses on the fact that this amendment hurts real people, real Minnesotans and their families. It humanizes the fight and paints the picture of how a committed same-sex couple raised two wonderful kids in Minneapolis.
