Minnesota Marriage Amendment

Information, facts and articles related to the vote on Marriage that will appear on Minnesotan's ballots in 2012.

Amendment supporters put up billboards

I’ve yet to see one yet, but according to the Star Tribune, over two dozen signs are popping up across the state.

The billboards say marriage equals one man and one woman, and then urges people to vote yes on the amendment.

“This signals that we are in the home stretch and the beginning of our messaging,” said Chuck Darrell, spokesman for Minnesota for Marriage.

It’s a sad thought to think that Minnesota is about to get bombarded by messages from amendment supporters about why gay people are bad, how we are somehow forcing an agenda, how children will be forced to learn about fill-in-the-blank.

I hope that people see the absurdity in these used up and tired claims and that amendment supporters actually creates a groundswell of additional support from NO voters.

If you’ve seen one of these billboards, please snap a picture and send it my way.
