I was scrolling through some posts this morning and I stumbled upon this. Of course, being curious, I used Google to learn more about the work and support Anne Hathaway is doing around Gay Marriage.

I must say, I was happy to read about an open letter to President Barack Obama that Ms. Hathaway added her name to last year urging the President to readdress his stance on gay marriage.

In February, you made a powerful statement about the law. We ask you now for your leadership on ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage – an exclusion that harms millions of Americans each day. Whether to end discrimination in marriage is a question America has faced before, and faces again today.

The letter was also signed by other celebs including Ellen and Jane Lynch.
