Two weeks ago in Minneapolis, marriage equality language was drafted to be part of the Democrat Party Platform. Today, in Detroit, the national platform committee “voted unanimously… to add a plank endorsing gay marriage.”
Next month, the platform goes to the national convention in North Carolina where we can expect to learn more about all of the individual pieces of the platform.
