Showing support through rainbow flags

Here’s a neat story that ran last week on what some ladies in Eden Prairie and Minnetonka are doing to change hearts and minds through the simple display of some rainbow flags. According to the story, it all started when a pastor at St. Luke Presbyterian Church began an “outreach plan” after the Minnesota State Legislature voted to include the marriage amendment on the ballot this fall. Parishioner Cindy Eyden suggested buying rainbow flags in bulk, but could not have imagined the movement that was about to be in store.

Take a couple minutes and click over to the story; it’s a nice, motivating read for a Friday morning. It’s amazing how something as simple as flying a flag can get the conversation started, which, at the end of the day, is what is going to help Minnesota become the first state to defeat this mean-spirited amendment!
