None of us asked for this amendment to be put on the ballot. None of us asked for this fight. But now that they have put this on our plate, we are ready to do this and we will do this, no matter what. With my fellow organizers, leaders, and volunteers by my side, I have no doubt in my mind that we will overcome this and make history, starting right here in Minnesota.

I found this to be a rather inspiring quote from the HRC. The article describes the immense dedication volunteers have across the state of Minnesota in defeating the mean-spirited marriage amendment. It reminds me of something I might write on this very blog!
