In the last weekend of the State Fair, Minnesotans United volunteers worked hard to recruit volunteers for last weekend’s “weekend of action.” Thousands of volunteers across the state made phone calls to voters to discuss the marriage amendment on ballots this fall.

According to Northland News, eighty percent of the volunteers were new to the campaign and that Minnesotans United continues to offer training and workshops on the topic so that all volunteers are ready to have the conversation.

If you haven’t signed up to volunteer yet, considering taking action with ONE three hour shift.

Let’s be honest, time is running out. In December, we’re not going to be able to look back and say, “Gee, I wish I would have signed up for one of those shifts.” Please consider signing up today. Let’s help ensure Minnesotans are educated and understand this amendment before they are faced with commercials from the other side. Education is key to defeat!
